Education and Training
The Education and Training department in the Prevention Division works to raise community awareness about the state of HIV in the greater Harlem and South Bronx area, promotes HIV testing, and works with target groups within the community to increase knowledge and skills to prevent HIV transmission and improve HIV-related health outcomes.
Education and Training facilitates group and individual-level interventions in the community and at Harlem United. Our interventions specialize in women, African immigrants, and MSM of color.
Education and Training also operates an innovative HIV MediaCampaign called Bringing It Home.
