We had a great time on Saturday celebrating our new health center, The Nest, with an afternoon block party. Long-time residents of the block joined friends from all over the city to welcome The Nest.
The event was a huge success. Over 300 people attended, we made new connections with 150 community members with whom we will follow-up to connect to care, and we already scheduled over 50 new appointments. But even more importantly, we had a lot of fun.
Since our founding, Harlem United has been dedicated to making sure hard-to-reach people and underserved communities have access to high-quality healthcare that is attentive to the whole person. The Nest is our latest advancement in our mission to make sure that everyone in New York City has the opportunity to thrive.
